Founders Alessandro and Nicholas met years ago at their old bus stop in middle school. Back then, Nicholas was the quiet one, standing on the crowded patch of grass, surrounded by other kids who all seemed to know each other. With a little encouragement from his mom, Alessandro went to talk to Nicholas. They've been friends ever since. Now, 15 years later, not much has changed--except Nicholas talks too much and World Thrift was born (est. 2017).

Nicholas Fanning: Nicholas is a numbers guy. He grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, and went on to study finance at the University of Florida. After he graduated in 2015, went on to work for Edward Jones Investments and USAA as a financial advisor. He helped clients with retirement planning and investment strategies. But he soon found his real joy in helping people style themselves at an affordable price

Alessandro
Alessandro Cocozza: Alessandro is a fashion connoisseur. He grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, and went on to study marketing at the University of South Florida. During his time in college, Alessandro had come up with the idea to search thrift stores for clothing from around the world to make available to other fashion enthusiasts. Alessandro called the idea, World Thrift. After graduation in 2016, he continued to build his inventory and brand through his travels. In 2017, he brought Nicholas on as a partner to help create and build the business.
